  • Nice

    August 2002

In the yacht harbour, east to the seaside promenade, the „Promenade des Anglais“, you'll always find a couple of beautiful items.

It is interesting that in German usage we apply the Italian term „Nizza“ instead of the French equivalent of „Nice“. This is due to Nice's population that separated from France in the year 1388 and subjected to the Count of Savoy. It was only in 1860 when Nice finally, after quite some to and fro, adhered again to France.
