    Barça's renown pedestrian thoroughfare

It doesnŽt matter which way you chose, youŽll get there anyway: to the Rambla. It runs from the core of the city, the Plaça de Catalunya, down to the port and is always animated by many many people watching and walking.

Actually, one has to use the plural as well for this street, ie Rambles, because the straight walkway changes several times its name:   Rambla de Canaletes, Rambla dels Estudis, Rambla de Sant Josep (or rather: Rambla de les Flors), Rambla dels Caputxins and Rambla de Santa Mònica.
