  • Funicular

    The funiculars must have been some ingenious idea of the city planners for the Olympics in 1992. One doesn´t need them really. The distances can easily be done just as well by car or by bus. But it cannot be denied, they do offer a lovely view !

    One funicular starts near the corner of Avinguda Parallel / Nou de la Rambla and runs to the Parc de Montjuïc. Its continuation then runs from this parc to the castle, the Castell de Montjuïc.

    On the second photo you can see the Palau Nacional. The fifth one shows a nice view on the port.
